At the end of July 2011 the zen cart 1.5 beta release is on the market. Zen cart 1.5 is the first open source ecommerce cms compliant with security standard.
There are no big and relevant improvements regarding with the core bust there are more tan 40 bug fixes and improvements regarding the security for example admin password expire and must be changed, all
passwords must have letters numbers and special characters.
Many modules based on obsolete code or which may generate security issues are discarded for example old fck editor.
All over the system seems to be more faster and responsive.
There will be issues with many addons.
