What CMS (content management system) should be choose if the main target is to have the website up in Google Search as soon as possible and as high as possible.
Just facts after two years of studying (analyse) evolution of different websites done for different companies using CMS Made Simple, Word Press and Zen Cart. After 6 months:
- All websites built using CMS Made Simple have 1 (ONE) page inserted into Google Index
- All websites built using Word Press have most of the pages (90% and 100%) page inserted into Google Index.
- All websites built using Zen Cart have between 10% and 40% of total number of pages inserted into Google Index.
Time frame: 6 months to 2 years after the website was built
Total number of websites: more than 40
Minimum number of websites done with a specific CMS: 5
All websites are monitored using Google platform (sitemap and analytics code)
Notes:
Having 1 page indexed does not mean that the website cannot be listed top in search engines. For reasons which are not under our control, one website done with Made Simple and one done with Zen cart (2 pages of 400+ indexed) are recognised as authorities on the internet in their area (plastic surgery and guns shop).
Having all pages indexed by Google unusually give more chances to the website to get a high listing.
