Virtualization is one of the hottest topic in board meeting of most of the companies all over the world.
The reason is simple: MONEY.
In order to deliver to our customer reliable solutions in virtualization area a, study is mandatory.
At this point on the market there are many players. The order they are mentioned is based on our criteria.

2) Microsoft
3) Novel(Suse), IBM(RedHat) and similar products(in house products and intellectual property).
Virtual Machine is a very old concept.
It was used in 1960′s on mainframes.
Once the PC (x86 architecture) was on the market things began to change. Initially designed as a standalone unit, the PC was not suppose to support multiple virtual machine running in its space.
Later, when its power increased and the software becomes mature the old concept was considered again.
Now, based on many studies, a normal desktop is used at 10% to 20% of its capacity.
There si plenty of power for virtual machines at NO COST.
According to IDC, the number of virtual servers will rise dramatically at a compound annual growth rate of 40.6 percent by 2010. By the end of the forecast period, then, more than 1.7 million physical servers will be shipped for virtualization activities. That represents a change from 4.5 percent of server shipments in 2005 to 14.6 percent of all physical servers in 2010.
