The bad news (it is more than 3 months old but for you who read it is new) is that in theory it is not possible to import any contact from LinkedIn and Facebook.
Reason is simple, I saw on the market (web) many ads like this one: “FaceBook contacts for sale”.
I bought apps for android and iPad / iPhone and Apple mac which promised me to have all my email address from all my social networks into my Google/Apple address book. One wa honest enough and warned me before buying that some social network may not allow me to import email addresses.
I took a try and I spent a few dollars (under $50 all together) to find the true. And I found it: You may get website urls but you will never get email addresses and other relevant details of your connections.
There is still a way to get all contacts details (name and email address) updated in real time fro LinkedIn. What you need:
An android device where you have to have :
- Linked in account created and enabled (app)
- Contacts (android)
- One Google account (email- you should have one toi get your android device running)
Open Contacts and select Linked in account – you should be happy.
There are a few more steps to get all contacts into your google and apple address book.
- Open Contacts
- Click on top right button
- Click on Import/Export
- Select Export to storage
You will be told that all your contacts will be xported into a.vcf file (you can use it to import contacts into Outlook or Apple contacts.
Will be available shortly “How to access your SD storage and import into another address book and sync contacts between apple – google.
