What was working perfect in Internet Explorer 8.x and Firefox 3.x is not working the same in the new versions.
Problems appears in Zen Cart – Light box adds on (IE9 just ignore javascript ) and FF4 and Chrome display a very nice white light box.
For most of the websites whic has layout with fixed width and “float left” pixels in IE are “bigger than ever” and boxes just jump one under the other. How big is ythe problem depends how many tag float left yo have and if you used or not left/right padding.
For FF is understandable this “hesitation” an changes into the core as long as this browser support many features from HTML 5 but for IE there is no explanation except the well know arogance of the “Microsoft empire”. They just does not care about non-windows users.
Anyone can chose a platfiorm but for web developer companies like us ther is a big problem because we must make happy both “world”.
I am sure all will be fine in a couple of months. Until then our clients will pay more to have their websites working mor or less the same in the new IE and FF.
