Buying from Adobe and Apple overt the Net

1) APPLE STORY.

A couple of months ago I download and installed a trial version of a product from Apple.
At the end of trial I followed the link provided, I created an account (Australia) I paid (in AUD) and I got the key. I was happy until I input the key into my app. NOP. It was just not working.
I called tech support and surprise what was on the website was not true. I must go to the Adobe store and pay double the money to get the product.

It was not their mistake and it was not hey who lie to me, I was wrong because I followed the link into their own application.

How was solved this issue?
It was not quite easy, I spend more than two hours on phone talking with many Apple employees from India and Australia and I using all methods (from asking very polite to yelling). Finally I got a big favour for the big boy “Apple” who NEVER REFUND SOFTWARE and I got money back in my account.

2. ADOBE story

On Sunday I bought a subscription over the net from Adobe Australia.
I tried to buy in USD, not possible because I am Aus. resident. That is okay, I thought, at least I get back the GST. When I received the invoice… surprise: there is no GST. So Adobe is not GST payer. That’s cool. They make less than 50k / year. LOL

Anyway, I was told that I have to wait 2 days to get my serial number and download link. After four days I became a bit nervous. One employee is waiting for this product to be able to work. Today since 9:30 am I am trying to get in contact with someone from Adobe who pretend t have am office in Sydney. I called that number (not 1300 or 1800, an ordinary NSW number). After 23min of listening to music I got an Adobe employee with a funny accent. She transfers my call to a number where I listen again 47 minutes of music and then the connection was dropped by them.

OK, I never give up so I went to the website trying to write a ticket as their customer. I met many of scenarios from simple one: Need more help? And no other option to choose from, to more complex. The result was only one. There is no place to launch a ticket and even you cannot write a “feedback” like on Google system. Who cares that nobody read it, at least you write and may release your stress.

How was solved this issue? It is not and it appears to me that only Good may help me. Adobe is far “better” than Apple. I paid and… taht is my problem not Adobe problem. Lucky me I did not bought 3.5k Adobe suite from them as I was close to do. I thought to check how it is working and I found that IT IS NOT (at least at this point of time).

Summary:
When you buy online always check if you can contact the sales/tech support. Make sure the product is on stock, delivery time and so on. It is applying to all online shops does not matter the brand.
